employment opportunities
A Hunt Club is
currently hiring dancers only.
Sorry, there are no
openings for cocktail waitresses, bartenders, or bouncers at
this time (although you are welcome to come in and fill out an
application for us to keep on file for future reference).
You must be at least 18 years old (and female) to apply as a dancer.
Please do NOT
email us your resumes.
You are required to physically come into the club to apply
for any
position.
We get a lot of emails
inquiring information
regarding the application process. Hopefully we can answer
some of your questions here about applying and working at our club as a
dancer.
Auditions are held
everyday (except Fridays
and Saturdays) from 4pm-6pm. You
will be asked to dance on
stage for two songs, one of which you will be topless. We
have a heel requirement of at least
3 inches. It would be a
smart idea to practice walking and dancing in your heels before
auditioning. We also ask that you do your hair and makeup for the
audition and keep in mind that the black lights in our club tend to
wash out faces so heavier than normal makeup is recommended.
As far as outfits go,
lingerie is typically
ok. You must be wearing a thong at least one inch wide in the
crotch area. We sell special thongs at our club that fit
these requirements so if you are uncertain, please stop by our club and
take a look at them. Booty shorts are acceptable as well. Nothing
see-through. Just bring your outfit with you and you can change in our
locker room before you audition.
If you are still unsure
about what to wear,
click the links on the right-hand side of this page to visit some
stores online that sell dancewear. We
recommend buying from
these
trusted companies.
While dancing, you are
not allowed to lick
or bite yourself or show any private parts (except your breasts). There
is absolutely no person-to-person contact in our club so that means
customers are not
allowed to touch you and you are not allowed to touch them. Because of
this rule you will be dancing on a stage about three feet away from all
customers.

Once hired, we ask that
all ladies show up
at least one hour before their scheduled shift to ensure being able to
work. There are times when girls are turned away because there are too
many girls scheduled so being timely is a must. Once you show
up for your shift, you are not allowed to leave until the shift is
over. This is for your safety. We also require all dancers to bring
their I.D. to work as it will be asked for at the beginning of your
shift and returned to you when you leave.
There is absolutely NO
soliciting allowed in the club. Customers are allowed to buy you
alcoholic drinks if you are of age. Bringing in alcoholic drinks and/or
drugs will prompt an immediate termination of your job. We would
recommend not
drinking before an audition.
We do not perform lap
dances at our club. We
do, however, perform private dances and stage dances, both of which
involve no touching. Please stop by the club to observe what is
required during these dances. Our managers like to talk one-on-one with
girls about these dances before they audition. You are not required to
perform a private dance or stage dance during your audition but it is
recommended you know about them beforehand.
We hire girls with all
body types. However,
chances are if you're uncomfortable looking at yourself topless, this
job may not be for you. It's obviously recommended that you take care
of yourself and have a good body image. Think about what customers
would like to see in a dancer. In this business, you are selling an
image to people so it is important for you to be well groomed and
maintain good hygiene. Breast size and hair color do not
matter, despite what
you may have heard or seen in the movies.
It is impossible to
tell anyone coming in to
audition how much money they will make and we get asked this a lot. It
depends on how well you interact with others, if you have a likeable
personality, etc., etc. There are days some dancers make over $500 a
night while others who are in a bad mood may leave with only $100.
Having a positive attitude is an absolute MUST
for this line of work.
Some days may be slower than others but if a girl comes to work with a
good attitude and is friendly and talkative to customers, she is
guaranteed to make money.
At A Hunt Club, you are
considered a private
contractor. Therefore, you are not
paid hourly; you work strictly for
tips. At the end of your shift, you are required to tip out 10% of what
you made to the club as a house fee for letting you dance on the
premises (or at least $9.00 if you made under
$100 total). This tip out
is then distributed to the DJs and bouncers for doing their job.
We ask that all
employees think of a "stage
name" to call themselves at work seeing as how using your real name is
not favored. We have a list of fake names at our club you may look at
before you audition if you'd like some ideas.
If you have any further
questions regarding
auditioning, please feel free to email
us.
However, we definitely
recommend you stop by the club and sit for a while and observe other
dancers to get a true feel of what will be required of you.
Working in a strip club
can be a fun and
exciting experience! Our club is classy yet laid back with an
entertaining atmosphere and our girls are friendly and interesting to
talk to.
We look forward to meeting you and good luck!
